So my system is using Microsoft Drivers (old drivers) for my BisonCam and I'd say that is. Windows 7 64bit and BisonCam Drivers. Download the driver for my. If you are a developer, or if you're interested in tracking the Linux UVC driver, you probably want to get a local copy of the source code repository. Below is the latest download from DisplayLink for Ubuntu distributions. This release has been prepared to be compatible with Ubuntu. Hi, I have a notebook with a BISON Webcam, does anyone know if there is driver for windows 8. Thank you RSantos.
I realize this maybe a manufacturer problem however I'll try and explain why I have a question.

So my system is using Microsoft Drivers (old drivers) for my BisonCam and I'd say that is why it is blocky, hardly any of the functions work in the BisonCam options. The Camera works but it is only running at about 10fps, if you record, it gets worse.
(check device manager, Imaging devices, BisonCam, NB Pro, Properties, Driver tab, Driver Details)
Drivers used: C:Windowssystem32driversksthunk.sys (expected)
and C:Windowssystem32driversusbvideo.sys (not expected)
So I install the Drivers that come with the laptop, no change to the system, in fact windows 7 64bit ignores the install.
I go onto Clevo's website, download the driver for my system, no change, the generic windows drivers remain
I read the release notes, and notice there is a list of drivers and versions in there that this system would love to have, but windows is favoring its own generic drivers.
So I force install the drivers. From the device manager, imaging device, BisonCam, NB Pro, Driver tab, Update Driver.., Browse my computer for driver software, Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer, uncheck 'Show compatible Device', scroll to Bison, select BisonCam, NB Pro, next and Yes, drivers install. Checked the drivers details.
Driver Provider: Bison Electronics INC.
Driver date 7/25/2009 (thats updated in my book)
Drivers are signed.
Driver list is:
C:WindowsM3000Twin.ini
C:WindowsM3000Twin.src
C:WindowssystemBisonC07.dll
C:WindowssystemBisonV07.dill
C:WindowssystemS30F0330.csr
C:WindowssystemS30H0330.csr
C:Windowssystem32BisonCoi.dll
C:Windowssystem32BisonR07.dll
C:Windowssystem32BisonR67.dll
C:Windowssystem32driversBisonC07.sys
C:Windowssystem32driversksthunk.sys (expected)
C:WindowsSysWOW64BisonR07.dll
C:WindowsTWAIN_32BisonC07BisonC07.ds
C:WindowsTWAIN_32BisonC07M3000Twn.dll
These are the drivers in the release notes that I downloaded. So I go into BisonCam Check the controls, all updated, nice.. but I don't get an image, only a black screen from the Camera..
So I've been searching around on the internet and find a lot of details on getting Vista 64 bit working, windows 7 32 bit working, but no one out of the post I've read has been able to get windows 7 64bit to run the non generic drivers. I woudn't even complain but I'm pretty sure the generic microsoft drivers aren't doing the 2 mega pixel camera justice. So yea I may have to wait for them to realize that windows 7 64bit isn't installing the manufacturers drivers (this includes every major computer company, trust me I tried using their Bison drivers.. most didn't list windows 7 64 bit as an option.
So back to the windows drivers, is there some tweaks in the registry or something to work with, since windows is the only provider of working 64bit windows 7 drivers? The image is just horrible.

I've got another harddrive, and I'm going to install windows 7 32bit, to see if this changes anything about this driver issue. I'll try and post what happens.
